Bockfest Social Media Case Study

The annual Bockfest festival has always been a bit of a ‘hidden gem’ and mostly relied on earned media and word of mouth to share the event with the Tri-State. As organizers, we have been working to grow the festival, which is complicated to do in traditional media due to the uniqueness and funkiness of the event. We partnered with RESLV last year, and they worked tirelessly to capture the sprit of the event through amazing video documentation. They also developed social assets including teaser trailers, animated gifs, and other online content that we have never had before while also sharing those assets through online channels with both organic and promoted posts. The response to these posts outperformed our previous efforts in a big way, and not only helped bring visitors to this year’s festival but also set us up to help promote future years as well.
